Data changelog

A dated record of real changes to PlainBroadband's data and methodology — corrections applied, query/pipeline fixes, and methodology revisions. Every entry here corresponds to an actual change in our codebase; we do not log routine data refreshes with no substantive change, and we never backfill or invent entries. See our corrections pathway for how a reported error becomes an entry here.

  1. Added a headline-decomposition bar on the authority score page

The authority-score page now shows a segmented bar decomposing the headline score into its real components, using the same figures already shown on the page.

  2. Bounded broadband detail peer queries

Fixed a query-cost defect on broadband detail pages so peer comparisons no longer scan the full corpus per render.

  3. Removed a fabricated dateModified stamp across 6 page types

dateModified was being set to the build-time timestamp (new Date()) rather than the real data vintage on 6 page types -- fixed to use the honest, data-derived date.

  4. Corrected a fabricated £16,000 business voucher tier

Removed a business voucher tier figure (£16,000) that did not exist in the source data -- a real data-truth correction (P0).

  5. Applied a minimum-premises floor to rate/percentage rankings

Rate and percentage rankings now apply a minimum-premises floor so areas with a tiny denominator can no longer produce a misleadingly extreme rate.
