Corrections
If a full-fibre percentage, gigabit rate, fixed/FWA gap, or ranking on PlainBroadband looks wrong, report it with enough detail to reproduce the page and compare it with the Ofcom Connected Nations record for that authority or constituency. The full editorial process is documented in our editorial and corrections policy. Our data changelog lists real dated corrections, data refreshes, and methodology changes.
How to report
- Report. Email hello@plainbroadband.co.uk or use the contact page with the page URL, the figure that looks off, and what you think it should be.
- Verify. Include a link to the relevant Ofcom Connected Nations Spring 2026 table or the official publication you think we should match.
- Scope. Say whether the issue is a raw Ofcom field, a derived ranking or gap ratio, a USO versus fixed/FWA distinction, or a stale data-vintage badge.
What happens next
We verify reports against the published Ofcom Connected Nations extract for that authority, constituency, or nation and correct confirmed issues in the canonical database or pipeline so affected pages update together. Material fixes are reflected on the next page rebuild and noted where our editorial policy describes the process. PlainBroadband is an informational coverage-data reference, not provider advice or a recommendation.
When the figure is correct on our side but Ofcom has not yet published a revised edition, we will say so and point you to the official record. We mirror published Ofcom extracts under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and cannot rewrite Ofcom's underlying filing on its behalf.
For how figures are derived, see the methodology page. For publisher accountability, see About PlainBroadband.
